About Me

Hello, everyone! 😊

I am Olivia, an eighteen-year-old violinist. Among my hobbies are photography, kids, animals, and modest fashion. I like anything to do with sparkles, smiley faces, and cute things. Last but definitely not least, I am a Conservative Christian, attending a small Baptist church and soaking it all up.  I would describe myself as creative, cheerful, and 100% musician. I laugh a lot.

I live on a hobby farm of 4.5 acres, with my family and various animals. We fell in love with the country life after moving here in 2010. Our farm (Windy Knoll Farm) sits on a little rise, giving a great view (10+ miles on a good day!) and tons of sunshine.

I hope you enjoy my blog! It's mainly music, photography, and randomness about life right now as you have probably noticed, but eventually my dream is to add fashion as well, so do stick around!

More about me:
  1. I am extremely fond of dark chocolate (who isn't??)
  2. There isn't a food that I've tried that I hate. Okay, except for the pink cake I thought was strawberry but was actually bubblegum flavored. Ewww...
  3. Frog legs are actually pretty good, if prepared right, of course!
  4. Someone (a little someone, of course) mistook me for a princess! (insert ALL the heart eyes here)
  5. I am a music teacher, and I love it!
  6. I burst out in song randomly. Whoever said that they didn't like musicals because people don't burst out in song in everyday life was completely wrong! They've obviously never lived with me! :)
  7. I am constantly listening to music. Just ask my sister. ;)
  8. I'm the youngest of two, but I have tons of "siblings". Little children tend to have a magnetic attraction to me, and I don't mind at all! The rule with me seems to be that if you have a cranky baby, I'll put it to sleep. . .
  9. Smiley faces are the best, and I use them a lot. Have you noticed? ;)
  10. I like comments. . . so what are you waiting for? :) Do you have a blog? How did you find mine?

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you drop in again soon! I try to post a few times a week, but in the school season it is often random.

  4. Hey! Just kinda found your blogging post totally out of the blue!! I typically don't even read blogs or search them out, but somehow, here I am!! Just wanted to say, that I find it really cool to see that there's such thing as a Christian girl out there who actually cares about her faith! I'm not sure why, but the area I live in, is typically bleak and not full of fellow believers which is sometimes a bit disheartening. Anyways, not even really sure why I'm commenting, but I did read some of your posts and found them engaging and fun to read!! Don't let your faith ever slow and thanks for posting!!! :)

    1. Hello! Thanks for commenting, even though you weren't really sure why you were! I'm honored that you noticed that I take my faith seriously! It's a fundamental part of my life and it influences everything I do.

    2. That's awesome!! A life without faith is most definitely a lonely and desolate one. That's so awesome to hear it's a main part of your life!! I'm sure you know this, but you can't be steered wrong basing your life on your faith! I truly believe that should be the main life goal of everyone, to base your life on the Word and belief in Jesus Christ!! So glad to hear!!!
